Rep. David Wu, D-Ore., did what any former public figure who resigned his post due to his own public humiliation would do — make a video and post it on YouTube. In the video, Wu talks about the debt ceiling and the importance of the vote and thankfully assures us that he “will not let this nation descend into chaos” (phew, that’s a relief). Later in the message he acknowledges that this will likely be his last vote and thanks the fine people of Oregon for electing him.
