Giuliani: ‘Over my dead body’ will Mueller interview Trump

Rudy Giuliani on Sunday ruled out President Trump, his client, sitting down for an interview with special counsel Robert Mueller.

“Over my dead body,” Giuliani said on “Fox News Sunday.” “But you know, I could be dead.”

Trump has already answered and submitted written questions to Mueller about possible collusion with Russians during the 2016 presidential campaign. The White House has so far resisted having Trump answer questions in an in-person interview about possible obstruction of justice.

In another interview Sunday, Giuliani told ABC News that he’s “not allowed” to say whether the president and his lawyers are in negotiations with Mueller about an interview with the president. He also would not say whether it’s possible that Trump sits down with Mueller in the future.

The former New York City mayor then claimed that “Mueller is done” with his investigation.

“They only thing left are parking tickets and jay walking,” Giuliani said.
