Bees removed from Manhattan tree

NEW YORK (AP) — A swarm of bees atop a tree on Manhattan’s Upper West Side has been safely removed. They occupied a tree at West 72nd Street near Amsterdam Avenue. They were captured Monday by the NYPD’s beekeeper Anthony Planakis. Last week, Planakis removed nearly 18,000 bees from a bus stop in Brooklyn.

They occupied a tree at West 72nd Street near Amsterdam Avenue.

Last week, Planakis removed nearly 18,000 bees from a bus stop in Brooklyn.
