Trump retweeted a string of tweets from FEMA, Red Cross, National Guard, Homeland Security, and other first responder and government accounts Friday morning.

The president has touted on social media and in press conferences ahead of the hurricane that he gives the U.S. an “A plus” when it comes to responding to hurricanes that hit Texas and Florida last year. Trump also says government and disaster organizations did a great job dealing with Puerto Rico’s devastation after Hurricane Maria.

Hurricane Florence made landfall in North Carolina early Friday morning, bringing with it nearly 100 mph winds and over 10-feet storm surge flooding.

Trump said earlier in the week that FEMA and other first responders and military groups were as prepared as they could be for the hurricane.

Several tweets he re-posted throughout the week urged residents to leave their homes if they lived in an area that was ordered to evacuate.
