With Wednesday’s announcement by Maryland that Jordan Williams has signed with an agent, Terrapins basketball fans can bid adieu to their top scorer and rebounder — and perhaps their hopes for a deep run in next year’s NCAA tournament.
But there’s no reason to consider next season lost. Coach Gary Williams’ teams typically thrive when expectations are low. So get ready for a familiar sight at Comcast Center — four guards swarming on defense, forcing tempo and turnovers.
