They’ve landed, and you just might catch them in Georgetown: Russell Crowe and Ben Affleck, in town to film “State of Play” for the better part of the next month, are laying their pretty heads at the fashionable Ritz Carlton in Georgetown.

» Bianca Jagger was on the Hill on Thursday to testify before the House Energy Independence and Global Warming Committee on renewable energy. The former Mrs. Mick Jagger is chairwoman of the World Future Council. But she had some competition for the title of “most beautiful visitor to the Hill on Wednesday,” as Queen Rania of Jordan joined her husband, King Abdullah II, and members of Congress to launch the Friends of Jordan Caucus.

» Jay Leno will provide the jokes at this year’s Leukemia Ball at the Convention Center on March 29. Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes will provide the tunes.

» K Street Lounge was the place to be Wednesday night, as the Redskins’ Fred Smoot, the Ravens’ Willis McGahee and the Orlando Magic’s Keith Bogans were all on hand. Also making appearances were rapper Ne-Yo and Idris Elba of “The Wire.” The two had just been honored at the National Association of Black Owned Broadcasters’ annual awards dinner. Lou Gossett Jr. also showed up to be honored, but Nancy Wilson and Eartha Kitt were no-shows.

» Valerie Bertinelli is in town this weekend to sign copies of her book, “Losing It.” The former child star and wife of Eddie Van Halen is at the Borders in Kensington today and the Books-A-Million in McLean on Saturday.
