Nancy Lopez For a town teeming with lawyers, thousands of Washington-area residents still suffer from a lack of access to legal representation. Lopez, 41, is working to change that. The Georgetown Law graduate focused early in her career on serving underprivileged clients, and now serves as the executive director of the Washington Council of Lawyers, a voluntary bar association promoting public interest and pro bono legal services. Lopez spoke with The Washington Examiner about the faith that inspires her work, and her work that creates a more just city.
