McAuliffe ‘unplugged’

That was Terry McAuliffe, the former Democratic National Committee chairman and former campaign manager for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, making the rounds on Monday night.

First stop: a $50-250 “Young Professionals” fundraiser at Proof in Penn Quarter that drew more than 100 young Dems to support Barack Obama’s cause.

Then McAuliffe was off to Arlington for a HillPAC (Hillary Clinton’s political action committee) event billed as “Terry Unplugged: A Campaign 2008 Update.” There, the former chairman took questions from the audience on the state of the 2008 presidential election and races from around the country.
