A Democrat in the Tennessee state legislature has introduced a bill to require a paternity test before a father’s name may be added to the birth certificate. One might get the impression from such a law that there is a bigger problem in this country with mothers falsely alleging paternity than deadbeat dads refusing to take care of their kids. To top things off, the proposed law would apply equally to married couples. Feminist groups should be all over this anti-woman, anti-family proposal.
