TUPELO, Miss. (AP) — The U.S. Small Business Administration says Mississippians seeking assistance after the 2012 drought have until April 29 to apply.
WTVA reports that (http://bit.ly/16scnXPd ) small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private non-profit organizations in Benton, Calhoun, Lafayette, Marshall, Panola, Pontotoc, Tate, Tippah, Union and Yalobusha counties are eligible.

The SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program is available to those who suffered a financial loss as a direct result of the disaster.
Applicants may apply online or get more information at www.disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.
Loan information and application forms also may be obtained by calling the SBA customer service center at 800-659-2955 or by emailing disastercustomerservice(at)sba.gov.
Loan applications can be downloaded from the SBA’s website at www.sba.gov.
