Trump says he’d win an IQ competition against Rex Tillerson

President Trump said he would win an IQ competition against his embattled secretary of state, Rex Tillerson.

In a new interview with Forbes, Trump said he doesn’t think Tillerson called him a “moron.” But he said if it came down to a battle of wits, Trump would be the winner.

“I think it’s fake news, but if he did that, I guess we’ll have to compare IQ tests,” Trump said. “And I can tell you who is going to win.”

Trump’s remark is just the latest example of growing tensions between Trump and Tillerson. Reports from last week said Tillerson was frustrated with Trump over the summer, called Trump a “moron,” and threatened to quit. In a press conference, Tillerson didn’t deny that remark, but the State Department later said it never happened.

While the White House said the episode was over, reports surfaced saying that Trump is considering replacing Tillerson with CIA Director Mike Pompeo. Many pundits expect Tillerson’s days are numbered, and several in the media have been openly encouraging Tillerson to quit.
