Film director Joshua Seftel’s latest project, “War, Inc.,” stars John Cusack, Hilary Duff, Marisa Tomei, Ben Kingsley and Joan Cusack. The political satire set is set in Turaqistan, a fictional country that is being occupied by an American corporation run by a former U.S. vice president. It opens in Washington on June 13. Q: What was the last movie you saw?

“Young at Heart,” a documentary about a senior citizen group that performs punk rock songs. It made me cry.

Q: What book are you reading?

“An End to Suffering: The Buddha in the World,” by Pankaj Mishra. It’s about the history of the Buddha.

“In Treatment” and “Californication.”
