The film will be directed by Morgan Spurlock, the direction behind documentaries “Super Size Me” and “The Greatest Movie Ever Sold.” One Direction — made up of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson — came about thanks to an appearance on the UK version of Simon Cowell’s “The X Factor.”
