Versus, CSN and Washington all seeing Red

Well if you do not know by now tonight is one of the biggest and most exciting nights in recent DC sports history.

 

The Caps are in the Stanley Cup Hunt and the face the Flyers at 7pm at the Verizon Center and Washington is a sea of red. A full house will be on hand and if recent ratings are any indication there will be plenty of fans watching throughout the mid Atlantic region from
Baltimore
all the way down to North Carolina .

 

Coverage starts this afternoon at 5pm with Russ Thaler and the WPL crew on CSN, that will include at 5:30pm “Versus on CSN Special Playoff Preview” a five minute package that will feature a look at all things happening in the NHL Playoffs. Then back to Russ and the gang for plenty of Caps pre game coverage.

 

At 6pm SportsNight will take over with a special Caps preview show with live features and interviews from all over “The Phone Booth” in Chinatown .

 

Then game 1 between the Caps and the Flyers gets underway at 7pm.

 

Radio fans the game will be on WJFK-FM 106.7FM and XM at 7pm with Jonathan Warner doing the handling the hosting duties with The Ice Man Steve Kolbe doing the play by play. Remember that ALL Caps playoff games will air on WJFK and XM with some being simulcast on 3WT 107.7FM and 1500AM the teams Flagship station when there are no Nationals conflicts and also on WFED-AM 1050.

 

Post game will be on CSN, The NHL Network and WJFK-FM.

 

Sunday’s telecast will be on NBC4 in DC and NBC 11 in both Baltimore and the Bay Area starting at 2pm and on radio once again WJFK-FM and XM
