A 34-year-old woman has been charged in a hit and run and driving under the influence after police say she struck 18 cars overnight in Frederick.
Officers arrested Austina Marie Biggus of Walkersville early Monday.
Frederick police received numerous complaints of a vehicle driving recklessly and striking parked cars. They found the vehicle had crashed into a fence near the Allegheny Power site. Police said Biggus also struck a tree, a traffic sign and two gates at the power company.
No one was injured.
