Mindy Weiss’ client portfolio may well be as good as it gets. The “wedding planner to the stars” has helped Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, Heidi Klum and Seal, Sting and Trudie Styler and U2’s The Edge — to name a few — tie the knot in style.
And now we can add local couple Ashley Taylor and Joe Robert to that list. Taylor, a model who also manages the Ann Hand jewelry boutique in Georgetown, threw Weiss a book party on the rooftop of the Hay-Adams on Thursday night and confirmed that Weiss will handle her celebration.

“In L.A., the ceremonies are very traditional, but then they step out of the box,” Weiss told us. “In D.C., they don’t step out of the box.”
Whether the vows between Taylor and Robert, the multimillionaire real estate investor, will be traditional is still hush-hush (no, Weiss won’t spill the beans).
