This one is going to hurt, Wizards fans. With the local NBA franchise sliding toward “rebuilding” mode, a pair of hometown kids come to the District tonight hoping to push Washington over the edge.
Oklahoma City star forward Kevin Durant is taking his game to another level. Prior to last night’s game at New Jersey, he was fourth in the NBA in scoring (27.8 points per game), led the Thunder in rebounding (6.8 rpg) and was second on the team in assists (3 apg). The Prince George’s County native has increased his scoring and rebounding averages in each of his three NBA seasons.
