“Saturday Night Live” head writer Seth Meyers has put to rest any rumors of Sarah Palin appearing on tonight’s prime-time episode. Speaking to Newsday’s TV Zone blog, Meyers said, “Of those specific rumors, there’s no truth. We do have an open-door policy, but there’s nothing specific yet, but our window of opportunity is before the election. We’d love to have McCain and Obama on again, too. Our doors are always open.”
As for why nothing worked out this time, Meyers stated the obvious. “They’re all pretty busy,” he said.
