Clintons earned over $25 million for speeches since Jan. 2014

Bill and Hillary Clinton earned at least $30 million since January 2014, placing them in the top 0.1 percent of earners, a government filing reveals.

The Clintons made more than $25 million for delivering 100 speeches so far this year, and that Hillary received over $5 million for her memoir on her time as secretary of state, Hard Choices.

As an announced presidential candidate, Clinton was required to file an account of her personal finances with the Federal Election Commission by May 15.

Hillary Clinton has said that turning the economy around would require “toppling” the wealthiest 1 percent.

She said that the “deck is stacked” against middle class Americans and it is time to “reshuffle the cards.”

When Hillary announced her candidacy last month, she said she wanted to be the “champion” of “everyday Americans.”

She received criticism for her statement last year that they were “dead broke” in 2001 after they left the White House, despite Bill Clinton earning millions of dollars for his speeches.
