SJP is MIA
If we were any more sensitive, we’d think Sarah Jessica Parker had something against our fair city. Late last month, the “Sex and the City” star backed out of a publicized appearance here at a fundraiser by the Democratic National Committee’s Gay and Lesbian Leadership Council. Actress Carrie Fisher filled in.
Now, she’s had to cancel her emceeing duties at the inaugural National Endowment for the Arts Opera Honors at Harman Hall. NEA spokeswoman Victoria Hutter told us that one of Parker’s film or television projects had a schedule change, which interferes with this event.
Hmm, could it be something to do with shooting for the HBO show based on “The Washingtonienne,” Jessica Cutler’s tawdry Capitol Hill tell-all (which Parker is producing)? The one that’s being filmed in BALTIMORE, not D.C.?
Come on, SJP, you’re killing us.
