Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Monday that he will push the idea of renewing sanctions against Israel in an upcoming meeting with President Trump.
בפגישתי הקרובה עם הנשיא טראמפ אני מתכוון להעלות את חידוש הסנקציות נגד איראן בהקשר זה ובהקשרים אחרים. אסור שהתוקפנות האיראנית תישאר ללא מענה

Netanyahu’s announcement came hours after Iran reportedly tested a ballistic missile in violation of an international nuclear agreement struck during the Obama administration.
The Israeli leader is slated to meet Trump in Washington in the coming weeks. Trump invited Netanyahu to the U.S. just two days after taking office.
Trump and many other Republicans have been critical of the Iran nuclear deal, and say it does not do enough to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons in the future.
