ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) — Alexandria police say a 38-year-old woman has been attacked while jogging on a popular bike trail.
Police say the woman was near Holmes Run Parkway when she was grabbed from behind by a man about 6 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities say the woman screamed and pulled away, and was not injured. The man ran off and was last seen walking on the bike path toward Van Dorn Street.
Police have not released a detailed description of the man.
