Hall of Fame linebacker Sam Huff was considered a tough son-of-a-you-know-what when he played. Age hasn’t softened him much. He can’t go out and hit anyone these days, but he can take shots. And that’s what he did at New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees. Huff was asked about Brees’ 2010 comments when he blamed some ex-players’ situations on life decisions. Brees said they want the NFLPA to make up for their “bad judgment.”

To which Huff, a Redskins broadcaster, told NewJerseyNewsroom.com: “Drew Brees should keep his mouth shut. [My Giants teammates and I] would put a target on his back. I don’t understand all this crap. We formed [the NFLPA]. [Giants end] Kyle Rote, he did it and put it all together.”
Then Huff called Brees “overpaid.”
And better yet, Huff said Brees wouldn’t say much after facing one of his old Giants teams. Except to say: “Did someone get the license plate of that truck?”
