President Obama today will travel to Delaware where he’ll announced a new infrastructure initiative at the Port of Wilmington. Thursday’s trip is just another event during the president’s week highlighting the need to strengthen the country’s infrastructure.

The Highway Trust Fund, which funds roads and bridges projects, is set to run dry in August and has prompted these events by the administration.

On Capitol Hill today, a House committee will examine the Justice Department‘s response to last year’s revelations that the Internal Revenue Service was targeting conservative organizations applying for tax-exempt status. On the Senate side, a committee will examine corporate culture in the wake of this year’s massive recalls by General Motors.
