Starbucks will give away free 12-ounce cups of coffee today from 10 a.m. until noon to thank customers for their patronage.
All Starbucks stores, including those located in Target, Giant Foods and Safeway stores will be participating.
“Our free coffee break is about surprising and delighting our customers and cost is not really a factor,” said Carter Bentzel, regional marketing manager for Starbucks. “We feel everyone one deserves a coffee break from work, and this is a way to enhance their customer experience at Starbucks.”
The beverage chain boasts more than 12,000 stores worldwide, including nearly 70 Starbucks near downtown Baltimore.
