Rush Limbaugh again apologized for calling Georgetown student Sandra Fluke, a slut last week, while discussing her testimony in support of the HHS contraception mandate.
“This is the mistake I made,” said Limbaugh, “In fighting them (the left) on this issue last week, I became like them, against my own instincts against my own knowledge, against everything I know to be right and wrong I descended to their level . . that was my error, I became like them and I feel very badly about that.”

Limbaugh said that he never thought that Fluke was a slut and still doesn’t believe that she is a slut, but was only using satire to make a point.
“Those two words were inappropriate, they were uncalled for, they distracted from the point i was actually trying to make, and again I sincerely apologize.” Limbaugh repeated, who added, “I acted too much like the leftists.”
