Tornado warning for Montgomery and Howard counties

The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning at 5:06 p.m. for Montgomery County and northwestern Howard County.

The warning said the “tornadic storm” would cross Interstate 70 between the 60 and 75 mile markers, near Mount Airy.

The warning remained in effect until 5:15 p.m.
