Mostly new leaders populate Howard council

The Howard County Council could consist of an entirely new set of leaders depending on the outcome of the general election.

Council Member Calvin Ball, D-District 2, is the only incumbent.

The race was waged on issues such as growth, downtown Columbia redevelopment and affordable housing.

Based on 84 out of the 106 precincts reporting, the unofficial results for the general election are:
