UPDATE, 2:18 p.m.: Two people have been detained, Alali said, though no charges have been filed. Alali said investigators don’t believe the shootings are connected to any of the area schools. Authorities are still determining what sparked the attacks and how many shooters were involved.
UPDATE, 12:07 p.m.: Alali said all three victims are between the ages of 16 and 19 years old. The Alabama Avenue victim is in critical condition; the others are being treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Alali said the suspect in custody is male, but he had no other information about the person.

Three juveniles were shot in Southeast D.C. on Thursday morning.

A boy was found unconscious and had been shot, Alali said. He said he did not know the boy’s age, but he is believed to be between 15 and 17 years old.</p> <p>Alali said the boy was alive when officers responded, but homicide investigators were called to the scene.</p> <p>At about the same time, officers were also called to reported shootings on the 3300 block of Fourth Street SE and the 800 block of Wheeler Hill Drive SE.
