Eleven most striking DNC virtual roll-call vote backdrops

The coronavirus pandemic kept delegates at the Democratic National Convention from casting their roll-call votes for the party’s presidential nominee on a crowded convention floor, but the Democrats found a creative way to keep the tradition while showcasing the natural beauty and character of the country.

State delegations cast their votes stationed in locations that said something about their state, sometimes in gorgeous locations.

Commentators on Twitter raved about the format, with some saying that they even prefer the nationwide tour of the United States rather than the drawn-out floor process.
