Is Amy Winehouse on suicide watch? Reports claim the troubled British chanteuse held a knife to her chest and threatened to kill herself. While friends succeeded in defusing the situation, they’re worried it could happen again.
“Amy has a death wish,” a source reportedly declared to the U.K.’s Daily Star. “Her emotions are exaggerated.” (Well, she is a rock star, after all.)
“She is either high all the time or when she hears something she doesn’t like, she’s suicidal,” the insider explains.
“She is all for this stupid Sid Vicious notion of dying young,” adds the source. “She is not scared of it and believes it is her destiny.”
But the singer’s publicist pish-poshes the notion, insisting to People, “She’s fine.”
We’re thinking the very fact that her publicist has to deny she’s on suicide watch is a pretty good indication that Amy is not, in fact, fine.
‘Next Door’ Move
Season five of “The Girls Next Door” kicked off with Pamela Anderson delivering Hugh Hefner a birthday cake — in her birthday suit.
But offscreen, Holly Madison stole the show by dropping a major bombshell: She and Hef have split.
When confronted by TMZ cameramen who asked if she could score them a mansion invite, the Playboy mogul’s one-time alpha girlfriend, who has lately been linked with magician Criss Angel, replied, “I have no pull anymore. Hef and I aren’t together.”
Holly also admitted that she has moved out of the mansion, but assured viewers that she and fellow “Girls” Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson are “still filming stuff together” for the current season.
Oh, Holly. And to think we believed you and Hef would live happily ever after!
On Again!
We knew that “still friends” line was bogus! After they were seen stepping out together twice, a source tells People that Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel are indeed rekindling their romance.
The comic couple, who split in July after five years, are “taking it slow,” the source clarifies. “They’re on the road back to being together again.”
After they dined together in L.A. in late September, a publicist had insisted that the exes were still just close friends. But then the duo attended Howard Stern’s Oct. 3 nuptials together in NYC. (And we all know what it means when you bring somebody to a wedding: It’s pretty serious.)
Reps for the two had no comment to People. And we all know what it means when reps go from denying a story to “no comment.”
