NEW YORK (AP) — Workers represented by two unions have ratified new labor contracts with the Metropolitan Opera.

The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees said Tuesday that members of Local 1 and Local 764 have overwhelmingly approved the agreements.

Local 1 represents craftspeople who work in areas like lighting and set and building construction. Local 764 covers employees in the costumer shop and workers who help the performers with their costumes.

The unions were among 15 that had been negotiating with the Met since February for new contacts. Tentative agreements were reached throughout August, and the other contracts still have to be ratified.

Agreement details haven’t been released, and differ between unions.

The Met’s season is scheduled to start Sept. 22.
