Reagan air traffic controller charged with assault after incident in control tower

A Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport air traffic controller has been charged with assault and battery over a scuffle last week in the control tower.

Air traffic controller Damon Gaines, 39, was charged over the March 27 incident, Politico reported, citing LexisNexis. The Federal Aviation Administration said it put the employee involved on administrative leave pending an investigation.
