No, this was not a radical experimentation in blog publicity, during which I disappear from the blog for a week right after I start it just to keep you in suspense. That would be a rathernovel, but ultimately vain and naive strategy, from which I would have to backtrack fairly quickly– just like Barack Obama!
No, in fact, a minor medical emergency kept me on the bench for a couple of days, which is why I wasn’t on O’Reilly or on Ed Morrissey’s show this week.

I’m glad to be back, especially on a day when I find that Antonin Scalia has written an opinion in the Heller case that I hear should be printed and distributed in pamphlet form to every American (through private funding, not government, of course).
I’m still on the mend, but will be blogging as much as possible, and using all my energy to keep up with the Obama camp’s spin on this one, which is shaping up to be impressive indeed.
