SAN ANTONIO (AP) — It took San Antonio jurors about 25 minutes to recommend two life sentences for a man convicted of forcing five women into prostitution.
A judge will sentence 45-year-old Glen Dukes within the next 30 days following a mental competency exam. The jurors recommended the sentence Thursday and convicted Dukes on Tuesday of human trafficking.
Prosecutors say he lured women into homes and forced them into prostitution between 2011 and 2013. A woman testified Dukes provided his workers with drugs but kept the money they made from clients.
