Whichever it is, this is one of those cartoons that just begs to be animated — complete with Bush dropping like a stone once he realizes he’s in thin air. I can hear the sounds in my head … The metallic thud of the safe. The chomp of the bear trap. Even the sound Bush makes as he plummets off-screen. (Remember that holler Goofy always made when he fell in those Disney classics? YAH-HA-HOO-HOOEY!)
I’ll have to get my crack team of trained orangutans on the job right away. Time to buy some more bananas.
