Ryan Seacrest’s net is getting wider.

On Wednesday’s “Today Show” on NBC, Seacrest told Matt Lauer that he will be joining the network (while remaining onboard at E!, of course). His first assignment? Being part of the network’s primetime coverage of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. No word on what other future assignments Seacrest might be doing.
