NY Post calls GOP primary for Trump with this front page

The New York Post called the 2016 GOP primary Tuesday in Donald Trump’s favor immediately following the billionaire businessman’s electoral victory in Indiana.

“Hoosier daddy,” reads the headline to a front-page that will run Wednesday morning. “Trump romps in Indiana, all but clinching nomination.”

“Never Trump collapsed yesterday as Donald Trump won Indiana over Ted Cruz, making it very likely that Trump will secure the GOP nomination without a contested convention,” the newspaper added.

Not long after media announced Trump the projected winner in the Indiana Republican primary, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, ended his campaign, effectively clearing the casino tycoon’s path to the White House.

“From the beginning I’ve said that I would continue on as long as there was a viable path to victory,” Cruz told a crowd of supporters in Indiana Tuesday evening. “Tonight I’m sorry to say it appears that path has been foreclosed. “With a heavy heart but with boundless optimism for the long-term future of our nation, we are suspending our campaign.”
