A Forestville man was shot to death in Southeast D.C. on Friday night, according to police.
Authorities found 41-year-old Brian Andre Proctor suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the 300 block of 37th Street SE at approximately 9:21 p.m. on Friday. Proctor was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police offered no details Saturday about a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
D.C. police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone with information leading to an arrest and conviction in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 202-727-9099. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call message the department’s text tip line at 50411.
