On Sunday night, CityZen chef Eric Ziebold hosted a surprise 60th birthday party for Michel Richard, the man behind Citronelle and Central and the elder statesman of D.C.’s food scene.

Among the many notable chefs on hand was none other than culinary star Thomas Keller of the French Laundry in Napa Valley, who flew in from California for the occasion.
