Following up on an intervention staged by several staff members, Rep. David Wu, D-Ore., said Tuesday that he will be seeking treatment for his allegedly outlandish behavior, which included sending strange pictures of himself dressed as a tiger to staff members on Halloween. On Monday he grandly named himself as his campaign treasurer, much to the chagrin of Lesley Bennett, who served as his campaign treasurer for four years before quitting because of Wu’s weird behavior. According to one staffer from Wu’s D.C. office, the congressman is appreciative of his staff’s hard work and their concern for his well-being. We hope he feels better soon.
