Wide receiver A.J. Green is a dangerous wideout, and the Redskins couldn’t stop him. Green finished with nine catches for 183 yards and a 73-yard touchdown on the first play of the game. Green plays even bigger than his 6-foot-4 frame.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton picked the Redskins apart all day with 328 yards and three touchdowns on 19 completions. He was picked off once but was accurate much of the day and took advantage of a struggling secondary.

How many times Robert Griffin III got pounded Sunday? It’s hard to imagine Griffin being able to sustain the number of hits he’s taking, not just on runs but in the pocket. But he’s such a big weapon with his legs that this likely will continue.

Cincinnati offensive coordinator Jay Gruden stayed one step ahead of the Redskins’ defense, but this game was mostly about big plays made by his weapons. The Bengals did a good job attacking weaknesses. Their defense? It’s not good.
The Redskins’ defense under Jim Haslett couldn’t do much to stop Cincinnati’s offense. Washington has surrendered way too many big plays in the first three games. The coverage is worse than ever. Offensively the Redskins found their rhythm in the second half.
