Walking around Washington this week is like scanning the reruns on the TV Land Network.
On Wednesday, child star-turned-adult star Rick Schroder (“Silver Spoons,” “NYPD Blue”) was on the Hill for the anti-child abuse organization Childhelp’s National Legislative Luncheon. Also on hand: actor Casper Van Dien, who you may remember from “Starship Troopers” (then again, you may not.)

Then, beginning tomorrow at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Alexandria campus, you can hear from Anson Williams, who played Potsie on “Happy Days.” Williams now owns a cosmetics company, so he’ll be chatting as part of the National Trademark Expo.
Finally, on Friday night, Melissa Gilbert of “Little House on the Prairie” fame will be honored at the 2008 National Hospice Foundation Gala at the Omni Shoreham.
