Dim Bulb: Bill Clinton

Who: Former President Clinton What: Clinton was overheard by an ABC News camera telling GOP Rep. Paul Ryan that he hoped Democrats wouldn’t use their victory in a New York congressional race to avoid acting on Medicare reforms. Clinton then proceeded to accuse Ryan in a public forum of creating a plan under which “people will use less, get sicker and die quickly. Or they will be poorer because they’ll have to spend so much of their money on health care.”

Why it’s dim: Is he for the use of “Mediscare” tactics, or against them? Clinton may not be an expert in sincerity, but he could certainly do better than this.

Cure: Try saying what you really mean — in public and in private.
