Items that would be under expanded Ohio sales tax

Admissions and amusements that would no longer be exempt from Ohio’s sales tax under Gov. John Kasich’s budget proposal:

— Admission to cultural events

— Admission to professional sports events

— Admission to school and college sports events

— Amusement park admission & rides

— Billiard parlors

— Bowling alleys

— Cable TV services

— Admission to and games at circuses and fairs

— Coin operated video games

— Pari-mutuel racing events

— Pinball and other mechanical amusements

— Rental of films and tapes by theaters
