Hagel prescribes downtime for Bush

President Bushs approval rating is at a historic low. So how can the commander in chief improve his job performance? Speaking at the New America Foundation on Wednesday, Sen. Chuck Hagel, R-Neb., offered the president a bit of advice.

“I’d prefer that the president would just sit and look out the window for a while to think,” Hagel said. “Politicians are expected to be running around everywhere and know everything. … There’s a lot to be said for turning your transmitters off and turning your receivers on.”
