MONACO (AP) — The IAAF says Colombian runner Diego Palomeque has been suspended for two years after failing a doping test at the London Olympics.

Palomeque tested positive for testosterone in an out-of-competition control in the Olympic Village on July 26 and was barred from competing in the 400-meter heats.

Releasing its latest list of doping cases on Tuesday, the IAAF said Palomeque is banned until Aug. 8, 2014.

During the London Games, the IOC also asked the Colombian Olympic committee to investigate Palomeque’s coach, Raul Diaz Quejada, for injections administered to the athlete.
