PSC decision on Calvert Cliffs reactor delayed
The state Public Service Commission has delayed its decision on a third reactor at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant until next month as applicant UniStar Nuclear Energy LLC seeks additional public input on air quality requirements.
The PSC had been set to rule in December on whether it would allow UniStar, a joint nuclear development venture of Constellation Energy and French company EDF, to build the third reactor. Constellation has not committed to doing so, pending regulatory rulings and further site studies.
UniStar requested an additional 30-day public comment period on the air quality standards set out by state regulators. That period expires Jan. 20, and the PSC expects to rule on the matter next month.

Davis Calibration moving to Timonium
Davis Calibration will move its headquarters from Baltimore City’s Seton Business Park to Baltimore County’s Timonium Business Park in March.
The firm has signed a 10-year lease for 25,200 square feet of headquarters and lab space at 1946 Greenspring Drive.
Matthew Haas and George Santos of Manekin represented Davis Calibration, while Whit Levering and Pat Franklin represented the landlord, Merritt Properties.

M&T Bank’s Charles St. branch to hold Ravens rally
M&T Bank’s flagship branch at 25 S. Charles St. in Baltimore will hold a “Stomp the Steelers” rally today from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Ravens tight end Quinn Sypniewski will sign autographs and pose for photos, and Ravens cheerleaders, mascot Poe, and Captain Dee-Fense are also scheduled to attend. Free Todd Heap posters and refreshments will be available, and a live raffle/trivia contest for four Todd Heap-autographed footballs will be held.
