That was the question for the Nationals organization during Sunday’s season opener at Nationals Park. The park’s first home run (courtesy of the Braves’ Chipper Jones) landed in Section 100 and was caught by Nats fan Brian Doran. Stadium officials ran over to him and tried to strike a deal for the stadium’s first home-run ball.
How about season tickets?

So it was, then, that after the game, Doran was brought down to the field to meet Nats third baseman Ryan Zimmerman, who only minutes earlier had clinched the game with a walk-off homer. Doran was given a signed Zimmerman jersey in exchange for the ball.
