Hord Coplan Macht, a Baltimore-based architecture firm, recently promoted two staff members in its education and health care groups.
Firm principal Peter Winebrenner was named a vice president, giving him an ownership share in the company, while fellow Vice President Tim Barnhill was promoted from senior associate to a principal of the firm.
Winebrenner has more than 18 years’ experience in architecture, project management and master planning, including two with HCM. A frequent speaker at local and national education association conferences, his primary focus has been the planning and design of public and private K-12 educational facilities around the country, particularly along the East Coast.
A project manager in the firm’s health care studio, Barnhill is experienced in master planning and the design of complex health care facilities featuring operating rooms, urgent care and ICU departments. A five-year veteran of the firm, his recent work includes projects for the University of Maryland Medical System.
